  20. We've just started upgrading from MS-Kermit to K95.

  22. We use APC to send some very quick commands to alter the terminal
  23. settings.

  25. In MS-Kermit APC does not cause significant flicker because the
  26. command mode screen is not preserved after entering connect mode.
  27.  
  28. In M-95 the connect mode screen is momentarily replaced by the command
  29. mode screen.

  31. This is ugly if all I was doing was changing the terminal settings.

  33. Is there any way to get back the MS-Kermit behaviour?

  35. Alternatively is there some other trick I could be using?

  37. While on the subject of APC.  Any chance one could have better control
  38. of APC?  Could we perhaps have APC strings passed as an argument to a
  39. user-provided macro?

  41. This would be most useful if the kermit command lanuage had something
  42. like the bourne-shell "eval".  Is there such a beast?
